Established in 2010 with over a decade of commercial heating experience, we are the only UK Company currently offering complete turnkey commercial heating services in-house. Our family run business provides full nationwide coverage including the Channel Islands, 24 hours/day, 365 days/ year.
How we got started
Danny Bulch and Paula Foley met whilst working for a large multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. Danny worked as an engineer before studying Mechanical Engineering at University. Paula is a Chartered Building Surveyor and has held various senior roles within the built environment.
In 2010 Danny and Paula established Cedar Green, a family run mechanical services company with the idea of providing a one stop shop for
commercial heating services with a personal and customer driven ethos.
Over the past decade, Cedar Green has completed 1000s of commercial heating projects for clients in diverse sectors across the UK and Channel Islands, including: hotels, care homes, hospitals, schools, universities, leisure, industrial and commercial.
Over the years Cedar Green has expanded and significantly grown it’s team of highly qualified engineers and support staff. Our Head office is based in Sussex.
Meet the management
Danny Bulch
BSc (Hons) & IOSH
Director
Danny has 30 years’ experience in mechanical services and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Brighton. Prior to founding Cedar Green Danny held roles at various consultancies before gaining invaluable experience setting up and heading the mechanical services division of a large multidisciplinary contractor.
Paula Foley
BSc (Hons), MRICS & IOSH
Director
Paula has over 25 years’ experience in the built environment and was elected member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) in 2003. Prior to founding Cedar Green Paula held various senior roles within multidisciplinary consultancies in London and Sussex.
Bryan Edwards
Technical Manager
Bryan is a Commercial Gas Engineer with over 45 years’ experience in the industry having started his training with his father as a teenager. Bryan has been an integral part of of Cedar Green since we opened for business in 2010.
Cedar Green Engineering Team
We invest heavily in our engineering and management team with continued training and development. This commitment to our staff means we have many dedicated and long-serving engineers with particular specialisms within the industry. Our workforce includes: commercial gas and oil engineers, coded welders and controls engineers. Together with their core engineering skill set, many have also gained qualifications in Site Supervision and Site Management.
We utilise a dedicated supply chain and believe loyalty to our suppliers enables us to call on them during an emergency.

Cedar Green’s Directors are both members of the institution of occupational safety and health and have a keen focus on health & safety at Cedar Green sites.
OFTEC (103517)
OFTEC establishes a national standard for competence within the domestic oil heating and cooking industry. Ensuring the highest quality of manufacture, installation, and maintenance of oil-fired appliances. Cedar Green is a member of OFTEC and complies with all their required standards.
Gas Safe (230818)
The Gas Safe Register is the only official gas registration body of gas businesses and engineers in the UK. Cedar Green qualifies for Gas Safe with skilled engineers working with Gas.

Health & Safety
Cedar Green takes the safety of both your staff and our own very seriously, by ensuring a high company standard regarding Health and Safety.
As a minimum, all operational staff are trained in asbestos awareness, manual handling and working at heights.
An operative on site will also be trained to Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme standards as well as the site management safety training scheme.
These training standards ensure work is practiced with a heightened awareness of health & safety and work complies with all legal requirements.
A large proportion of our staff are also trained First Aiders so in the event of an accident, or injury, our staff will be able to react quickly and effectively.
