Cedar Green recently completed a full boiler room upgrade at a care home facility in Bristol, replacing two existing gas-fired water heaters with a new high-efficiency plant room installation.
The project included the installation of 2No Hamworthy Dorchester condensing water heaters and 2No Hamworthy Purewell Variheat boilers, together with new flue systems and improved controls.
Working in a live care home environment, continuity of heating and hot water was essential. Cedar Green utilised its own temporary boiler and temporary calorifiers throughout the works, helping the site remain operational and avoiding disruption to residents, staff and day-to-day care services.
The completed installation provides the care home with improved system efficiency, reliability and performance, supported by a high-quality plant room fit-out and careful attention to workmanship throughout.
